Katy Perry, as the world’s biggest pop idol, went way beyond just producing hits in the music industry, named in 2011 as MTV’s Artist of the Year, with the announcement that an entire line of fragrances would be launched bearing the sexy singer’s name. The craze nowadays is a scent line for any hot celebrity: including the likes of Beyonce, Paris Hilton, Usher and now – Katy Perry.

Perry brings to light inspiration from her wild side with the creation of her very own signature fragrance named Purr. The global advertising campaign for the new perfume has the gorgeous singer posing as a cat girl – Meoooowwwww! The fragrance is delivered in an unconventional cat shaped bottle with sparkling cat-like eyes and the lavender color of the fragrance is in keeping with Perry’s focus on the unconventional – Beginning early in her career with metallic-blue hair which shocked and delighted her fans everywhere.

The perfume is described as floral-fruity with a whole lot of sweetness and sex appeal. The scents are: peach, apple, jasmine, Bulgarian rose, orchid, bamboo, sandalwood, vanilla and musk.

Purr is refreshingly sweet with a mix of country apples and peaches. It then transitions into a soft coconut flavoring, recalling the forest after a rain. It trails off with a strawberry aroma with flower petals lingering on your skin. Purr, overall, is a mildly sweet scent – a fragrance that you can wear for any occasion and it lasts for a long time, even if you are walking on the beach.

Purr will undoubtedly be of great appeal to our Elite Club Members at Katy Perry Fan Club | Beverly Hills. To celebrate the recent British Royal Wedding, Katy came up with a tongue-in-cheek nail treatment which had a lot of fans talking.  A nail-art fanatic, the “alien victim” had painted her nails with pictures of the Duke of Cambridge – Prince William and his journey from childhood right through to engagement with now better half – Catherine, better known as “Kate”.

The “Teenage Dream” hitmaker has very recently also unveiled her newly-dyed locks which are raven black in color on her “California Dreams” world-wide tour. As a real “California Gurl”, blonde was Katy’s natural shade, though she’s kept modifying her locks and we expect more of the same –  for instance the outrageous mauve shade seen in her website currently promoting her new single “The One That Got Away”.

Perry sported electric-blue haircolor as her trademark before dying her hair to a lighter shade of purple. The original blue color reminds us of the metallic Harley-Davidson motorcycle featured in the hit movie *(back in the day!) “ElectraGlide in Blue”.  It seems at times that Katy is using hair color like a prism, covering all the ranges and values and changing her look each time. Katy insists that her ultimate goal is to get back to her originally natural shade, which is strokes of blonde.

The take-away for us is that changing things up is fun and exciting – be it your hair color, nails or other fashion accessories that accentuate your mood and the “events” that you might be attending that day or evening. Katy stresses in her fashion style that there are no “rules” – and if you can find some it’s probably a good idea to break ‘em, baby!

1) Register in Exchange System by visiting the signup page here. You’ll get an email confirmation in a few seconds, just click the link in the email. If you forget your password, no worries, just retrieve it from the system but DON’T forget your username! Also, if you plan to BUY coins you need to be sure you register your CORRECT email address that is associated with your Paypal account!
2) When you first register, you will receive 50 free coins. The coins are points received each time you “like” another member’s page, youtube video, follow their twitter account, etc. The coins are a virtual currency that can be used by you to pay other members when they get traffic for your links, your twitter account, facebook page, youtube videos, etc. Just think of it as paying your visitors to “like” your various social media sites, and they are paying you to “like” theirs back – that’s why our system is called “EXCHANGE”!
3) If you have a facebook page or website or youtube page where you want traffic, then add in the section “Add Sites” making sure to select the correct social network among choices at the top. Have a youtube video you want more views of?  That’s easy! Just enter the URL of your youtube video and be sure to highlight the “YouTube” button in the menu bar above.
4) Once you have your sites installed, you need to add “coins” from your bank of 50 that you start with, or you can buy more from your Paypal account (make sure you put in correct Paypal email account!). The process is easy! Go to “My Sites” by clicking link on left. Now select which social network you are trying to get traffic with, ie. Google+1, Facebook, Youtube, etc. and it will show you your sites below.
Look over on the right at the green “plus” button for adding coins. Add as many coins as you wish, and being sure to adjust your “coins per click” setting to reward your visitors for “liking” your page. We suggest you start with 3 to 5 coins for every “like” or youtube “like” or “view”  or Google+1 and same for following your account on Twitter.  For example, if you add 10 coins as the budget for one site, and you pay 5 coins per “like”,  then you can pay for 2 “likes” before you have to add more coins – easy!
5) Twitter Account! You can add ONE twitter account to get followers for it, go through the “Twitter Account” button on your left and enter your twitter ID without the ”@” sign! Once you register your Twitter account, go to the “Twitter Account” clicker on the left, you’ll see in the window you can “add coins” to reward your new followers, and set the “CPC” (Coins per Click) as you did with other social networks and websites/pages.
6) You’re almost done! Now click the “Home” button on the top menu of your control panel.
7) Now start EARNING coins! Click the “Earn Coins” button on the top menu. Remember, the more “coins” you have, the more you can PAY your new Twitter followers, your new Facebook Fans, and your new YouTube viewers! You may now select which social network “likes” you want to use, and see how much other members are willing to pay you for clicks! You may also use the “Auto-Surf” button to automatically “like” sites and earn coins easily! Remember to “like” as many other members’ pages and sites as you can to earn coins, and they will most likely “like you back” and pay you in return! 2 1/2 Year Old Kiara Spano LOVES Katy Perry!

Katy Perry Fan Club | Beverly Hills is proud to present this adorable “California Gurl” who takes the trophy as our YOUNGEST Club Member AND by far the most “youthful” KatyKat we’ve ever run across (if you’ve got a younger fan in YOUR house, PLEASE leave comments, lol!!).

This story began a couple of weeks ago when our founder GE Brant was contacted by Hermosa Beach, California resident KIARA SPANO‘s grandmother, who proudly let him know that her 2 1/2 year old granddaughter was TOTALLY in love with Katy and her music, regularly singing to her songs and dancing around the house. Please read on for our exclusive look at this gorgeous little girl and how she came to be if not THE youngest at least one of a tiny handful of super-young Katy fans. It was written by Kiara’s mom, Lisa, and we are tickled BLUE to be able to present her story to our members!

I THINK my daughter is the youngest Katy Perry fan – and her biggest fan too.  I don’t think any of Katy’s fans throw a tantrum the way Kiara does when I take my iPhone away from her when she’s listening to anything by Katy.

Kiara first heard/saw Katy when she performed the parody of “Hot and Cold” with Elmo.  My husband and I wanted to see what the big controversy was over Katy’s outfit so we found the video on YouTube.  At that time Kiara LOVED Elmo so she wanted us to play the song over and over and over.  From that day on she was able to recognize Katy’s voice on the radio.  No matter what Katy song came on Kiara’s response was, “Mommy, that’s Katy Perry!” even if she had never heard the song before.  It was pretty amazing coming from someone who wasn’t even two at the time.

When Katy performed at the Grammys Kiara fell in love with “Teenage Dream”.  She would watch the video over and over and mimic Katy’s dance moves.  My husband and I thought it was so funny – especially when Kiara would raise her arm up and say, “This goes out to all the Valentine lovers” (Like Katy said at the beginning of the song).

There isn’t a day that goes by that Kiara doesn’t ask to hear Katy.  I have her songs on my iPod, iPhone, iPad, computer and we play her videos on our big TV through Verizon Media Manager.  When I wake up in the morning she has to hear Katy and she always steals my phone to play her videos.  I even use Katy’s songs as lullabies for Kiara – my husband found piano music without the lyrics that my daughter loves.

I can go on and on about my daughter’s obsession with Katy Perry.  She even has a baby doll she named Katy - and when she smiles for pictures she doesn’t say cheese, she says “Katy”.
